I booked my flight with my dad yesterday afternoon for MTL.
Round trip tickets cost $32.50.
Is this a joke?
Next time anyone wants to go to Montreal, give me a call, I will hook you up.
Downsides: I will have to go with you, and you will have to pay for my fare as well.
Upside: That will still be less than you can ever wish to pay to go, and I know of some really cool places to crash/drink while we're there.

I was telling my mom the story, and she was like: "Well I made your chinese name into your middle name as two separate names (may kay) because I figured you could pick one and go by that instead..."
whut. why didn't anyone tell me this before?

MONTREAL

I'm leaving Friday May 1st and coming back Monday May 4th.
I cannot wrap my mind around how cheap it will be to fly there, and the fact that the flight time will be roughly equal to a GO bus trip to UNION STATION. (whaaaatttttt)
I don't think I will ever take the train/bus there ever again. Even with the $40 taxi ride to downtown Montreal, it is still SO MUCH cheaper.

I am so excited.

mrahhhhh.
we have reached a consensus on a weekend to meet up in Montreal.
Pretty much everybody has agreed on the first weekend of May.
Details to be announced (ie. for how long, when we will get there, where we will stay...)
But I am so happy and so excited!
I can't wait to go dancing and quiz each others about world capitals in French and speak Portuguese!
I know I've said that I miss these kids, but it hasn't been clear how much I've actually missed them until now.
I am sooo stoked!
I just wish everyone could be there.
We'll be missing 1/3 of the group..
I am just waiting confirmation... yayyyyyyyy!
(hopefully no surprise exams come up. i have an essay due the week after, so this might not be a good idea, but I DON'T CARE!)
